Reservations for your stay at the Black Diamond Guest Ranch and Resort. Better make them now, before all the good dates are taken!! They will go quick and you'll lose out on all the great extra special features that we have here besides just a place to stay. Stay 7 nights, we will only charge for 6 and the 7th is on us, when you call remind us of this offer. Although we are not an Outfitter, we do provide excellent amenities for hunters who like to hunt 2005 Season Results: The big game and turkey season was very successful this year, with over 65% of the tags filled in this general area. We do not have to total number of harvested Elk and Deer for the area because we did not get to talk to all the hunters. But the locals, Montana residents, not from here, and the Non-resident hunters we talked to had great success both in archery and the general season. Good November snow aided to good hunting results. We do know that 5 Spring Black Bears were harvested one weighing 450lb at 6'4", two very nice big 6x6 Bull Elk, and countless numbers of 4 & 5 point (Montana style count, one side) White Tail Deer. Mule Deer hunting was a little slow this year, but a couple of nice 4 points were harvested. Turkey hunting was great, the only draw back to hunting Turkeys in Mineral County is you have to draw a tag and last years tag limit was 15. The good news is that the population is growing by leaps and bounds. We are looking forward to another great hunting season in 2006. Remember now is the time to get your applications in for non-resident hunts, don't dally. Spring Bear and Turkey seasons are right around the corner. Our goal here at the Black Diamond, is to provide the basis of a great Montana experience and the rest is left to you and the grace of God in your hunting success. After all they call it hunting!
